Renaissance Scholars is proud to have helped a number of public assistance clients build better lives by enabling them to complete their education and obtain rewarding jobs in health care. For the right people, it is a proven foundation for achieving a satisfying quality of life.
 Through the help of Renaissance Corporation and the Albany County Department of Social Services, I was able to obtain assistance to attend the nursing program at Maria College. I am extremely excited about my future. I know that none of this would have been possible without the support and guidance that I received from the Renaissance Program. 
I graduated in May 2011 and am now employed at Albany Medical Center’s Coronary Care Unit. I am very grateful for every opportunity I have been provided, including the support of the Renaissance Program that has made my journey possible. Thank you.
